Slugwrench
"I've always been into sound," says J Shepherd, better known in the electronica and experimental worlds he dwells by the handle Slugwrench. The eccentric artist's fondness for electronically induced pain, however, goes far beyond mere standard synth sounds.
Slugwrench's debut album Prole left a stain on the history of musial evolution crossing the boundaries of experimental electronic music and nearly every other genre imaginable.
Slugwrench is currently working on the second full length release on Intolerance. (Not counting the numerous underground demo tapes.) Things are going well and J just completed a track with Databomb from Skinny Puppy to be included on it. The only single released so far is called "Bash Your Skull" and can be heard on the Slugwrench myspace page.
